Our Story
A fund born from a community that stayed.
Over decades, Lithuanians in Britain built schools, choirs, congregations, sports clubs and community groups — almost always on volunteer energy alone. The Fund began with a simple question: what would it take to make that work last?
In development
- 01Generations of Lithuanians have made the United Kingdom their home and built community life here.
- 02Much of that work depends on short-term fundraising, single donors and volunteer goodwill.
- 03A group of founders came together to create a permanent institution instead of another one-off campaign.
- 04Today we are laying the foundations: governance, people, principles and a long-term model.
- 05Next comes growing the capital — and, in time, the grants it will make possible.
